Retribution

An eye for an eye

Is often the call

But if the truth be told

This will be mans greatest fall

Now justice is one thing

Revenge is another

Alone we're not meant to be

Judge, jury and executioner of a brother

We've a system for that

Our courts and our laws

There to keep us above

Retribution from teeth and the claws

For once it is started

In the end we will find

That an eye for an eye

Only leaves all men blind
