For those who wish to reach a soul
homeless bodies first must be made
whole.
Their hunger must be satisfied
shelter given from the cold outside.
But if all you have to give are prayers
you've not ministered to their deeper
cares.
They're hungry, thirsty, cold and ill
physical needs must come first, that's
what we must fulfill.
Following this they may be ready to
listen
and if you're truly sincere your light
then will glisten.
