I felt the turn
it came subtly
the transition was smooth
almost to the point of not being
noticed
the teaching was becoming an appeal
one to an awakening
we must become aware to learn
find the truth and then act with care
to preserve a world that we can live in
if we sleep we will be lost
buried beneath a wave of tidal
proportions
this is a season to stay awake
